Protimeter Digital Mini BLD5775
The new Protimeter Digital Mini is the latest compact, general purpose pin-type moisture meter used for assessing moisture conditions in buildings.
The Protimeter Digital Mini has a large clear LCD screen with a digital readout of the timber moisture content.
An LED strip display which changes from green through to yellow and then red also gives a quick visual indication of the timber moisture content, from dry through to excessively damp.
A new function of the Digital Mini is the reference function, whereby subsequent readings can be compared with a chosen reference reading.
The Protimeter Digital Mini can be used for making rapid moisture assessments in a wide range of building materials including wood, masonry, drywall, plaster and concrete. The instrument measuring pins are small and sharp which means measurements can be taken at the surface with virtually no mark left behind.
The numerical values represent the actual percent moisture content of wood (%MC) and give a relative guide to the condition of other materials. The Protimeter Digital Mini can be used to determine if the fabric of a building is in a dry, borderline or damp condition.
When taking readings in awkward positions, the Protimeter Digital Mini can be used with the moisture probe and lead, supplied as standard with the instrument. The optional Protimeter Hammer Electrode can also be used with the Protimeter Mini for determining moisture gradients in wood.
Optional Deep Wall Probes can be used with Protimeter Mini to measure the moisture level at depth in a wall, irrespective of the surface condition. Deep Wall Probes are very useful accessories when investigating the cause of the moisture problems within buildings.
A standard accessory socket on the side of the instrument accepts either the standard pin-probe extension lead or the optional accessories such as the heavy duty pin-probe, hammer probe or deep-wall probes.
The meter performs an automatic internal calibration check at periodic intervals; this calibration check can also be performed on demand by the user at any time.
Protimeter Connect App
The Digital Mini has BLE connectivity to enable users to monitor measurement values through the free Protimeter Connect app, to collect data as pictures or as a spreadsheet.
